Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Mzimba Adventures' team will warmly welcome you and facilitate your transfer to your hotel either in Arusha or Arusha town. Here, you'll have the pleasure of meeting your safari guide, who will provide you with essential information about the upcoming safari adventure. Your guide will brief you comprehensively, ensuring you're well-prepared for the journey ahead.
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Distance: 140 km
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel to start your safari to Tarangire National Park. This nature reserve is characterized by bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees, making it one of the best places in East Africa to observe elephants. Thousands of elephants roam the park, often coming close to vehicles, allowing for remarkable encounters with these majestic animals.
In addition to elephants, Tarangire is home to diverse wildlife, including Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and over 500 bird species. After the game drive, you will leave the park in the late afternoon and drive to the lodge for your overnight stay.

Tarangire to Lake Natron
Distance: 180 km
After breakfast, depart from the area around Tarangire National Park and head to the multicultural village of Mto wa Mbu. From there, embark on a spectacular and bumpy gravel road journey along the Rift Valley Escarpment, with Ol Doinyo Lengai, "the holy mountain" of the Masai, visible in the distance. Your destination for today is the typical Masai village of Ngare Sero in the hot and dusty Rift Valley. From a distance, you may see the pink glow of the flamingoes while breeding and feeding. As the sun sets, join a Masai guide on a walk to a nearby waterfall. After enjoying the beauty of nature, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
Distance: 160 km
Begin your day with an early start, traveling along adventurous dirt tracks with breathtaking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by midday. Serengeti, meaning "endless plains" in Masai, offers vast grassland savannahs stretching to the horizon, dotted with grazing animals. Serengeti is renowned for the annual migration of millions of animals in search of fresh pasture and water, making it a must-visit park in Tanzania. After your game viewing, overnight at your lodge in the northern part of the park.

Serengeti National Park
The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in Serengeti National Park. The areas you visit will depend on the location of the migrating herds. Predators often closely follow the trekking animals. After the game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Distance: 145 km
After breakfast, embark on another game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you might spot animals you haven't seen during the last two days. Serengeti is home to the "Big Five" – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. After lunch at a picnic site, drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Witness the sun setting over the crater from your lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater To Kataru
Distance: 25 km
Rise early for breakfast and then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll encounter a diverse range of wildlife. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch, leave the crater in the afternoon to travel to your lodge in Karatu.

Kataru To Lake Manyara National Park To Arusha / Airport
Distance: 175 km
Visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse bird species, primate-filled forests, and grassy plains. Explore the park's landscapes, including the alkaline Lake Manyara, home to flamingos and other water birds. After the game drive, return to Moshi in the late afternoon.
